LSU Health Geauxs Blue

LSU Health New Orleans campuses were painted blue today as faculty, staff and students proudly wore their support for NOPD and other law enforcement agencies, and most especially, LSU Health New Orleans University Police.

The New Orleans City Council declared September 7, 2016 the inaugural Geaux Blue NOLA Day. The Council asked the citizens to wear blue to honor the men and women who protect and keep us safe. It is a day to honor them, recognize their sacrifice and visibly support their dedication and service.

he Council hopes this will become an annual tradition. We hope so, too!
